Kent State recognizes more than 8900 undergraduate students who have been named to the Dean's List for Spring 2016. Undergraduate students who obtain a 3.400 GPA or higher while maintaining 12 or more credit hours during the spring qualify to receive this honor.

Kent State welcomes its highest-achieving freshman class ever and continues strong university enrollment. These academically motivated freshmen have an average GPA of 3.35 and an average ACT score of above 23; both are increases over last year and records for an incoming Kent campus freshman class.
The following local residents have been named to the spring 2015 Dean's List at University of the Sciences. Selection for this award is based on completing and passing all assigned courses with no grade below a "C" and attaining an academic average of at least 3.4 for courses taken in the spring of 2015.
Olivet congratulates all students named to the dean's list during the spring 2015 semester. To qualify for inclusion on the dean's list, a student must have been enrolled as a full-time undergraduate student and must have attained a semester grade point average of 3.50 or higher on a 4.00 grading scale.
Members of The Citadel Class of 2015 were recognized for excellence in leadership, service and academics. The South Carolina Corps of Cadets celebrated the graduation of 430 seniors from 34 states on May 9, 2015. Of those cadets, 148 were commissioned as officers. Veteran students were also among the graduates. Top areas of study for the class included business administration, engineering, political science and criminal justice.
On May 8, 2015, 94 men and women from The Citadel commissioned into the Army.
